The European Commission will host a Horizon Europe Information Day on 15 January 2026 (09:00–17:00 CET) dedicated to the upcoming Work Programme 2026–2027, with a strong focus on Cluster 5: Climate, Energy and Mobility—a core thematic area for the ShakeUp project.
The event will provide valuable insights into the policy context shaping the new Cluster 5 calls, alongside practical guidance on how to prepare competitive project proposals. Participants will also receive advice on strengthening the integration of Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) within Cluster 5 topics.
The information day will feature:
Presentations from the European Commission on Cluster 5 priorities and expectations
Guidance on proposal preparation and evaluation criteria
Dedicated sessions on enhancing the impact of SSH contributions
Interactive parallel sessions, including short thematic presentations and live Q&A supported by SLIDO
Participants will be able to submit questions in advance of the event and follow the sessions via livestream, accessible through registration on the European Commission’s web platform. Registrants are also encouraged to consult the recently published Horizon Europe Cluster 5 Work Programme 2026–2027 ahead of the event.
Brokerage Event – 14 January 2026
